A tutor helps you understand. But cannot remember for you
A good teacher explains rules, corrects mistakes, gives live feedback, and helps you speak more confidently. This is useful. But a tutor cannot put words into your long-term memory. Vocabulary appears only after your own repetitions.
The core problem: a tutor has no map of your memory
Even a good teacher usually does not know which exact word you forgot today, which word must return in three days, and which word can wait a month. A tutor sees mistakes during the lesson, but does not maintain a personal schedule for thousands of words between lessons.
Turning a tutor into a repetition system would be too expensive
In theory, a teacher could check your words every day, record mistakes, manage intervals, and return material at the right moment. In practice this is almost impossible and would cost far more than an app. Machines are better at routine. Humans are more valuable where feedback is needed.
A tutor does not replace daily practice
One or two lessons per week do not create automatic recall. Between lessons, words either return to memory or disappear. A tutor can be a strong addition, but regular training still builds the vocabulary base.
Where CORE95 helps
CORE95 covers the routine: it shows a word, checks the answer, and returns it when memory starts to weaken. A tutor can explain, while the app brings words to automatic recall every day.
